Your Sim Discovered Fire is a variegated colorway, layering reds and browns over a bright orange, and it works into a really beautiful medium-contrast watercolor-y fabric!
This colorway dyes brighter on our NSW bases and blends the different red tones a little more than our SW bases. Pictured from left to right is Wicked Merino and Serious Suri Silk.

We recommend hand-washing all of your projects and laying them flat to dry, even if they are made using superwashed fibers! This will help to extend the life of your projects, as well as maintain their vibrant colors and overall fitted shape. We love using a gentle wool wash, such as Eucalan or Soak wool wash, to clean projects made with hand-dyed yarn.
