This iridescent beetle has really complex colors which we tried to draw out in this moody but uplifting deep green tonal - we wanted to capture the bright green reflection of the leaves, the deep blue of the wings, and the overall "glow", and we love how it turned out! This color glows on every base (especially the Suri) and the way the Tweed mutes it ever so slightly is just *chef's kiss* perfection.

We recommend hand-washing all of your projects and laying them flat to dry, even if they are made using superwashed fibers! This will help to extend the life of your projects, as well as maintain their vibrant colors and overall fitted shape. We love using a gentle wool wash, such as Eucalan or Soak wool wash, to clean projects made with hand-dyed yarn.
