June is Pride Month, celebrating the LGBTQIA+ community! Here at Loop & Whorl we strongly support this community, and everything its members have to offer to each other and the world: support, home, friendship, and love. We are pride-positive, and 20% of the sales from this colorway (as well as the rest of our 2024 Pride colorways) will support The Trevor Project. This non-profit organization provides support and tools to the LGTBQIA+ community (with a focus on the youth in the community).
Swirly Rainbow Barf (light) starts off with a warm off white base and is then dyed with many layers of 8 different dyes, making up a watercolory rainbow! It is then overdyed to mute the vibrancy just a little, for those of us who prefer darker, moodier colors. On our NSW bases (right), the tone of the rainbow completely changes as it takes up dyes very differently!

We recommend hand-washing all of your projects and laying them flat to dry, even if they are made using superwashed fibers! This will help to extend the life of your projects, as well as maintain their vibrant colors and overall fitted shape. We love using a gentle wool wash, such as Eucalan or Soak wool wash, to clean projects made with hand-dyed yarn.
