Cryptids are mysterious animals whose existence is disputed - they are scientific anomalies, objects of myth or folklore, oftentimes with many sightings and creature encounters or even photographs! Some of the more famous cryptids are Sasquatch, Mothman, and the Loch Ness Monster. We even have a local cryptid in our neck of the woods - ever heard of the Loveland Frog?

This collection started out as a monthly subscription for 2024, we revealed one cryptid every month! Here were our picks:

With this collection, we are also bringing in a line of YAK bases which we are COMPLETELY jazzed about: Stormy Yak Lace, Fingering, and DK! All three bases are a blend of SW Merino, Silk, and Yak, creating a truly ethereal fabric with the drape, shine, and next-to-skin softness we've been yearning for.

Closing collection: April 23 - IF we do not meet capacity.

Shipping no later than: June 18 - assuming there are no supplier issues.

We are aiming for an 8-week turnaround for this collection, and we will ship as we go! If we meet our capacity (meaning, if we sell more skeins than we expect to be able to dye in this 8 week timeframe) then we may have to close the collection before April 23rd, but this is unlikely :) We want to keep these colorways available as long as we can!

We will ship as we go, meaning you won't have to wait until all orders are dyed to start receiving shipping notices! Everything will be dyed and shipped within ~6 weeks of the collection closing, with smallest orders shipping first and largest orders shipping last.

Absolutely! This collection is very special to us, and we'd love to keep these colorways around long after the collection closes on April 23rd. We've already heard from some of you which colorways you'd like added to ourSweater Quantity Library (SQL), to be made permanently available on demand, but we're open to hearing more from you guys about what colorways you'd like to see again! The tonals may pop up again as complementary colors for some palettes, and definitely at trunk shows in the future, too.
